SK-Gr. 3 Summer Learning Packages available

The Kindergarten to Grade 1,  Grade 1 to Grade 2, and Grade 2 to Grade 3 Summer Learning Packages have been updated and are ready for families to use!
The intent of these materials is to provide suggestions for families in order to continue to engage the family in the home connection to support student reading achievement, motivation and engagement throughout the summer. For more information, click on the Parent Info tab on the CRW website.

Last Day - June 29 early dismissal

This is a reminder that Friday, June 29 will be the last of classes for the 2017-18 school year.  Dismissal will be at 1:15 p.m.  We wish everyone a safe and healthy summer, and look forward to seeing students again in September.

Congratulations - 2018 Grads!

Congratulations to the CRW graduating class of 2018 - you did yourselves, your families, and your teachers proud during Tuesday's Graduation ceremony.  Good luck to all of you as you move on to high school.  Special thanks to all the parent and student volunteers, and to staff for helping to create a wonderful graduation experience.

Newcomers meeting - June 21

The final 2017/18 CRW Newcomer Group meeting is on Thursday, June 21 from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m.  in the library.  Everyone is welcome to join us. 

We hope to use this group to help connect families new to the school, the region, the province, or the country with the larger school community.  We want to help parents/families make connections with others, ask questions, get answers, meet a mentor/friend, be comfortable using their mother tongue in the community, learn about the education system in Ontario, learn more about Canada, and other topics which arise from the group.   Childcare will be provided by our intermediate students.  Please contact Nancy Ahrens at CRW with any questions.  

Fun Fair - June 19

Mark the date in your calendars - the 2018 edition of the CRW Fun Fair will be held at the school on Tuesday, June 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Drop by to enjoy the games, entertainment, and inflatables.  Food will be available, but must be preordered (via School Cash Online) by June 8.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Happy Victoria Day!

This is a reminder that CRW will be closed Monday, May 21, to celebrate Victoria Day.  We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 22 (Switch Day - Monday schedule).

Grade Eights returning from Quebec trip

CRW's Grade Eight students are returning Friday, May 18 from a four-day trip to Quebec.  The buses are due at the school at 7:30 p.m. Check our Twitter feed (@CRWPS) for any updates.

Newcomers' Luncheon Meeting - May 10

We will be having the luncheon meeting of our CRW Newcomer Group on Thursday, May 10 from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m.  in the library.  Everyone is welcome to join us.

Book Fair success

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the recent CRW Book Fair a resounding success. Again, our sales total topped $9,000. which means we can purchase additional items for our library renovations. Way to go, CRW!!
